Arnotts Tim Tam Classic Chocolate Sandwich Biscuit

Scrumptious!

This product contains a total of 6 chocolate-flavoured sandwich biscuits, popularly known as 'Tim Tams'.
The biscuit in itself, is akin to a 'Bourbon' biscuit, in terms of looks and flavour. It is crispy and crunchy, with a slightly malt-like and salty aftertaste. The chocolate is spread in between 2 biscuits, and the biscuits are also coated in the same chocolate.
The flavour of the chocolate is rich, complementing the biscuits very well. The biscuits can be consumed on their own, or be paired with a cup of hot coffee beverage: by practicing what is popularly known as the 'Tim Tam Slam'.
'Tim Tams' in Australia have always been compared with 'McVities' 'Penguin' biscuits manufactured in the UK. I have had the 'Penguin' product in chocolate flavour a few years ago, and now having had the 'Tim Tams', I can state that both products are quite comparable. They are both delicious in their own right, although I personally prefer the 'Tim Tams' due to the slightly grainy texture I had experienced when eating the 'Penguin' biscuits.
The biscuits can be easily shared with family and friends.
Overall, this product is well worth the purchase.
