A must-try!

This product from brand ‘Nabisco’ under its ‘Chips Ahoy!’ range contains a total of 21 cookies, each with a soft, almost ‘cake’-like texture, and with ‘Red Velvet’ flavouring. The packaging is the well-known ‘Nabisco’ peel-off packaging, which sticks back once the requisite number of cookies are taken for consumption, allowing for portion control and ease of storage.
Unlike many other ‘Chips Ahoy!’ cookies, these cookies are not ‘hard’ at all when bitten into. The cookies have been accurately illustrated on the package, making them aesthetically appealing.
‘Red Velvet’ cake is a dessert having originated in the US, and now increasingly marking its presence all over the world. It has a deep cocoa flavour, with a ‘red’ or ‘maroon’ colour brought about by beetroot as per the original recipe, now mostly generated via food colours or ‘Dutch’-processed cocoa powder, and a tangy ‘cream cheese’ aftertaste.
The cookies are artificially flavoured, but replicate the ‘Red Velvet’ flavour very well. The amount of sweetness is just right. Their texture makes them highly reminiscent of the ‘crumbled cake’ component of ‘Red Velvet Jar Cake’ dessert. They can be consumed on their own, or paired with a glass of hot or cold plain milk beverage.
The cookies can be easily shared with family and friends. They are meant to be savoured and not had ‘on-the-go’, as they tend to leave crumbs all over when eaten.
Overall, this product is worth the purchase.
